Lakers Announce Massive Amounts Of Layoffs During Reorganization

The Buss family, after owning the Lakers for half a century, sold the team for $10 billion to Mark Walter last October. Now, over a dozen employees were informed on Wednesday that they had been laid off. The lay-offs happened in the marketing, team communications, team content and corporate partnerships departments as a part of organizational restructuring under new management.
