Lakers Don’t View Deandre Ayton as a Long-Term Solution at Center

Jake Fischer reported that the Lakers do not consider Ayton a long-term answer at center. Although he's averaging 14.3ppg and 8.4rpg, his effort has left something to be desired at times. The Lakers could also be considering a stronger option defensively. Although Ayton won't be a long-term starter, the Lakers could consider him a bench option.
