Lakers Not Expected to Offer LeBron James Anything Close to the Max, Per NBA Analyst

Dave McMenamin reported that the Lakers are not expected to offer LeBron James anything close to a max contract. However, both parties are in active talks over a new deal to bring LeBron back for his record 24th NBA season. If another team offers LeBron a better deal, he might leave LA for what could be his final NBA season.
