Lamine Yamal Fires Back at France Ahead of Spain's World Cup Run

"They haven't beaten us since the Euros. They can't be better than us," Yamal said. The 19-year-old scored the goal of the tournament in Spain's 2-1 semi-final win over France at Euro 2024, becoming the youngest scorer in Euros history at 16. France and Spain could meet in the semi-finals if both sides progress in the World Cup.
