Lavonte David Calls Bucs’ 2025 Collapse “Embarrassing”

Lavonte David didn’t sugarcoat Tampa Bay’s late-season slide, saying it was “embarrassing” after the team went from 6-2 to missing the playoffs at 8-9. “We controlled our own destiny and we kind of like sh-t the bed,” David said, citing losses to Miami, New Orleans and Carolina. The linebacker is now undecided on retirement as pressure builds for 2026.
