A Maryland lender has filed a $3.6 million federal lawsuit after allegedly being tricked into approving a $3.3 million loan for someone posing as Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. According to the complaint, filed by All Pro Capital Funding, the money was approved after assurances from James Plack and South River Capital before being sent to a Chase Bank account controlled by an alleged impostor, who then disappeared with the funds.
