Linda Livingstone Says Baylor Will Skip Bowl to ‘Focus on Next Year’

Baylor president Linda Livingstone said the Bears declined a Birmingham Bowl invite to “focus on the 2026 season,” calling the 5–7 finish “disappointing.” She said the program is already deep into offseason prep and needed the next few weeks to attack the portal properly. “The better use of our time and energy was to focus on next year,” Livingstone said.
