Lions Legend Lem Barney, Hall of Fame Cornerback, Dies at 80

Lions Hall of Famer Barney, the seven-time Pro Bowler who intercepted Bart Starr for a touchdown on the first NFL pass ever thrown his way, has died at 80. Barney led the league with 10 interceptions as a 1967 rookie, earned Defensive Rookie of the Year, and became a three-time first-team All-Pro. Detroit later retired his No. 20 alongside Barry Sanders and Billy Sims.
