“Long Overdue”: Stephen A. Smith Reacts to Auburn’s Tribute For Cam Newton
Auburn announced that Newton’s No. 2 jersey will be retired on Oct. 11 before the Georgia game, joining Bo Jackson, Pat Sullivan, and Terry Beasley in program history. Reacting to the news, Smith said, “I’m incredibly happy for him... He went undefeated, won the National Championship, the Heisman Trophy, the Maxwell Award, the Walter Camp PoTY Award... he deserves it".
