“Lot of Stupid Rumors”: Jon Gruden Says Jets Never Reached Out to Him for Coaching Role

Gruden has denied reports that the New York Jets "reached out" to him about joining Aaron Glenn's staff ahead of the 2026 NFL season. "There's a lot of stupid rumors out there. Some of these reports are ridiculous," Gruden said. "Let's just say there was never anything from the Jets and I wish them well in their search for a new offensive coordinator," he added.
