LSU Board to Meet on Brian Kelly’s $54 Million Buyout Lawsuit

The LSU Board of Supervisors will meet on Friday, mostly behind closed doors, to address Kelly’s lawsuit claiming he was never “formally terminated” and is owed his full $54 million buyout. LSU fired Kelly on Oct. 26 but later argued it had grounds for a “for cause” dismissal. Kelly rejected LSU’s $25M and $30M settlement offers while alleging political involvement in the process.
