LSU Fires Offensive Coordinator Joe Sloan After Texas A&M Loss

A day after firing head coach Brian Kelly, LSU has now dismissed OC Sloan following Saturday’s 49–25 loss to Texas A&M. The Tigers ranked 12th in the SEC in scoring (25.5 PPG) and last in rushing yards (850) under him. Promoted in 2024, Sloan’s offense failed to help QB Garrett Nussmeier, with LSU dropping to 5-3 and out of CFP contention.
