Luis Lara and Brewers Agree to $31 Million Contract
Lara and Milwaukee agreed to a seven-year, $31 million contract extension that includes three club options, reported Jeff Passan. The deal maxes out at $79 million. The OF is ranked No. 91 on the top 100 prospects list in MLB. In Triple-A this season, Lara has seven homers and 27 RBIs at a .338 batting average.
