Luka Doncic Blames His Own And Lakers' Effort For Loss To Rockets

"Everybody has got to give better effort, starting with me," said Doncic after the 119-96 loss to the Rockets. This is the Lakers' third straight loss. JJ Redick said that "effort and execution" were missing from the get-go tonight. He promised his Lakers players an "uncomfortable" practice this coming Saturday. They're set to face the Kings next.

With the score tied at 126 apiece and 56.4 seconds left in OT, Edwards tried messing with Jokic's rhythm at the free throw line. When Jokic brought it up with the referees, Edwards acted innocent, as if he hadn't done anything wrong. Jokic made both free throws and eventually led the Nuggets to a 142-138 win.

He urged Redick to focus on why players aren't listening to him, adding that if Redick continues to publicly call out players, he will lose the Lakers locker room quickly.
