Luka's Lakers Score Easier Than 2020, but Defend Nothing Like Them
Danny Green said this version of the Lakers is built the opposite of the 2020 title team. “They’re more of an offensive juggernaut. We were a defensive juggernaut,” he said, citing the old group’s rim protection and perimeter stoppers. Green likes L.A.’s recent defensive improvement, but said the gap from Oklahoma City and San Antonio is still too big.
