Manchester United Cut Wage Bill by $18.9M as Jim Ratcliffe Restructure Bites

United’s wage bill fell $18.9m year-on-year, with Q2 wages at $101.5m. Loans for Marcus Rashford, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund, plus exits for Alejandro Garnacho and Anton,y helped, alongside staff cuts. Operating profit for six months was $44m, boosted by $65m in player-sale gains; underlying loss was $21m. Though revenue slid to $446.8m from $461.8m.
