Marcus Freeman Accused of Battery at Wrestling Tournament

A high school wrestling coach accused Marcus Freeman of battery following a Jan. 3 incident at a Mishawaka tournament involving his son. Police completed an investigation after New Prairie assistant Chris Fleeger filed a report. The case has been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office to determine whether charges will be filed. Notre Dame immediately released a statement, calling the charges "unfounded."
