Mario Cristobal: “College football is for Saturday”

Miami HC Mario Cristobal says one fix for the sport is obvious: end weekday kickoffs. “I would eliminate Thursday and Friday games, man. College football is for Saturday. That drives me bananas,” he said, pointing to Miami’s sparse-crowd Friday loss to Louisville. Cristobal also wants a looser working calendar, arguing coaches need “more time around our players.”
