Masai Ujiri Joins Toronto Tempo Ownership Group as Principal Owner

Tempo added a major name ahead of their inaugural WNBA season, announcing Ujiri as a principal owner on Monday. Canada’s first WNBA franchise said he’ll help launch Tempo Rising, a coaching mentorship program for women-identifying and non-binary coaches. The Tempo begin play May 8 in Toronto at Coca-Cola Coliseum next month as the league’s 14th franchise.
