Matt Bishop Backs Max Verstappen’s Plan to Shrink and Simplify F1 Calendar

Former McLaren comms chief Bishop threw his support behind Verstappen’s vision for F1’s future. Bishop joked the triple champion Max should run for FIA president in 2029, saying he agrees “with every word” about fewer races, fewer street circuits and no sprints. He even suggested Max would be “a lot better than the current president” at running the sport.
