Matt Chapman Set for MRI as Abdominal Strain and Paternity Leave Loom

Per Bob Nightengale, Chapman will undergo an MRI on Wednesday to determine the severity of his abdominal strain and whether an IL stint is necessary. The third baseman aggravated the lingering injury from April in Tuesday's game versus the Diamondbacks. He is also scheduled to take paternity leave, with his wife expecting a baby boy, Jack, on July 5.
