Reports from a few days ago claimed Cuban wanted to re-acquire Mavericks from the Dumont family along with an undisclosed investment group. It's now been stated from Marc Stein that a source close to the Dumonts claims they have no interest in selling the team they bought for an excess of $4 billion. They look forward to "expand their ownership".
