Max Greyserman Says Japanese Fans Treat Golf as ‘Art,’ Unlike U.S. Crowds

After carding a four-under 67 to share the Baycurrent Classic lead, Greyserman compared fan cultures, saying, “In the U.S., I don’t usually get claps for hitting it to 30 feet — here I do.” He praised Japan’s “respectful fans” who study swings and view golf “like an art form,” calling the Yokohama crowd “incredible.”
