Max Verstappen Breaks Monza Record, Takes Pole Ahead of Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri

Verstappen stormed to pole at Monza with a 1:18.792, breaking Lewis Hamilton’s 2020 record of 1:18.887. The Red Bull driver edged McLaren’s Norris, even though he also surpassed Lewis Hamilton's figure, by just 0.097s and Piastri by 0.1s in a thrilling session. Meanwhile, Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Hamilton secured P4-5 respectively. McLaren still would be eyeing a win.
