Max Verstappen Confirms No. 3 Switch as Lando Norris Claims No. 1

Verstappen confirmed to Viaplay he’ll race with No. 3 in 2026. He ran No. 1 from 2022–2025, but only the reigning world champion can claim it, and Norris’ 2025 title gives him that right. Verstappen used No. 33 from 2015–2021. The last F1 driver to race with No. 3 was Daniel Ricciardo before ultimately retiring from the sport.
