Mercedes Mone Retains CMLL Women’s Title, Issues Dual Challenge After Win

Mone defeated Persephone via Bank Statement to retain her CMLL Women’s World Championship at CMLL Viernes Espectacular on October 17. Following the win, she announced a TBS Title Open Challenge for AEW WrestleDream and accepted Olympia’s challenge for her CMLL crown in the U.S. Mone has now defended the title twice and holds a 509-day TBS reign.
