Mets Urged To Lock Pete Alonso Up Long-Term After Monster Walk-Year

The Mets enter the offseason with Pete Alonso back on the open market after opting out of his two-year deal. Mark Feinsand says the slugger, who hit 38 homers with 126 RBI and led the NL in doubles, is a "natural fit" in Queens and should get a long-term contract, though anything beyond four years might send him elsewhere.
