Michael Irvin Calls Colts’ Philip Rivers Signing a “Head Scratcher”

Rivers, 44, joined the Colts’ practice squad after Daniel Jones suffered an Achilles tear that ended his season. “Philip is going to one day be a Hall of Famer. But this signing is a head scratcher,” Irvin said, as the Colts had all mobile quarterbacks. “They were using Jones’ legs… but you use Rivers, it’ll alter the running game.”
