In 2003, Nike built a “Black Mamba” concept for MJ at HQ. After the pitch, Jordan Brand’s president told the team, “MJ doesn’t like snakes,” and the campaign died. Later it was learned that MJ is afraid of snakes. A year later, Bryant watched Kill Bill Vol. 2, learned about Black Mamba, and then claimed it as his alter-ego.

Ime Udoka Vehemently States NBA Coaches Hate Wearing Suits
Pat Riley said he wanted NBA coaches to start wearing suits on the sidelines again. They haven't done so since the NBA Bubble in 2020. Udoka, upon asked if he wants to wear suits instead if a track suit, said, "No, thank you." Ime claims about 87% of coaches voted against suits before the start of the season.

Victor Wembanyama Tips in RJ Barret’s Shot as Block Attempt Goes Wrong
Early in the second quarter, Barrett got the ball at the top of the key and drove in, attempting a floater. Wembanyama rose up for what seemed like a guaranteed block, however, his fingers just grazed ball, tipping it into his own basket. One announcer said that Wemby "softened it up" and another said he "should have let it go."

Darko Rajakovic Goes Off On Refs For Non-Call During Raptors-Spurs
Darko was livid with a non-call by the refs. He believed Brandon Ingram was fouled on a three-point attempt at the top of the key by Stephon Castle but the refs didn't call it. So, in a fit of rage, Rajakovic picked up a quick tech leading to an ejection in the second quarter. He did avoid getting ejected however.
