Michigan's Former AD Warde Manuel to Receive $7 Million Exit Package

Outgoing Warde Manuel will reportedly receive a $7 million lump-sum payment after stepping down as Michigan's athletic director, according to Front Office Sports. The separation agreement also includes $108,000 in retirement benefits and reimbursement of about $82,000 in legal fees. Manuel's departure follows nearly a decade leading Michigan's athletic department through championship success and multiple football-related controversies.
