Brown says that players sacrifice who they are for the team. He said, "There’s no better way" to do so than the way they did it. Brunson signed a 4-year $156 million extension in July 2024, leaving $113 million on the table. Bridges signed a $150 million deal in August this year. Both did it to win with the Knicks.
