Mike Tomlin Says Steelers Needed Change After Playoff Struggles

“Thought it was a good time for the organization, we didn’t have success in the playoffs,” Mike Tomlin said on stepping down as head coach of the Steelers. Tomlin emphasized it wasn’t about one moment, but the bigger picture. “Guys like Cameron Heyward, T.J. Watt and Chris Boswell were worthy of the excitement and optimism associated with new leadership,” he added.
