The Timberwolves are trading Julius Randle and the number 28 pick of this year's draft to the Brooklyn Nets in a 3-team deal. Nic Claxton gets re-routed to the Chicago Bulls. The Wolves will get the Nets' number 33 pick. This was most certainly done as a salary dump for the Wolves who might be going for a bigger fish.
