MJF Says He Turned Down WWE Deal at 22, Chose AEW Instead

The AEW world champion recalled getting signed by Major League Wrestling at 19, calling it rare to land a deal that young. He said he won championships there, then at 22-years-old was offered contracts from both WWE and AEW. MJF explained, “I went with AEW because I believe in the mission statement (to provide fans with the best wrestling matches).”
