MLB Hands Jurickson Profar 162-Game Ban After Positive Testosterone Test
MLB announced Braves DH Jurickson Profar tested positive for exogenous testosterone and will be suspended 162 games, effective Friday. Profar can appeal, but the league noted PED penalties are rarely overturned through the grievance process. The ruling makes Profar unavailable for the season unless the decision changes on appeal.
