MLBPA Proposes 28-Man Rosters to Protect Player Health

MLBPA proposed expanding active rosters from 26 to 28 for the first 15 days of the season, per Bob Nightengale. "Designed to protect player health in the lead up to and just after Opening Day," the proposal states. It would limit teams to 14 pitchers and give more jobs to players after spring training as CBA talks continue.
