Jesse Rogers wrote Murakami was “caught in traffic” and briefly scratched, then “back in… Just arrived.” The White Sox slugger, signed from Japan to play first base, nearly missed pregame routines before the lineup cards locked. White Sox expect him in the heart of the order this spring as he adjusts to MLB velocity and new pitchers for his Cactus League debut.
