NASCAR Stands Firm on Media Strategy Despite Viewership Decline
Despite a 15% drop in 2025 Cup Series viewership numbers, NASCAR says it will stick to its new media rights plan spanning broadcasters Fox, Amazon, NBC, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Versant. EVP Brian Herbst called the decline part of a “planned reset,” citing 40% higher media revenues and rising younger viewership as the sport focuses on long-term growth.
