NBA Analyst Reveals How Jalen Brunson’s Camp Laughed Off Mavs’ $55 Million Offer in 2022
Marc Stein stated that the Mavs had many chances to extend Brunson during the 2021-22 season to a 4-year $55 million deal. When they tried signing him late, at the 2022 trade deadline, Stein said Brunson's camp didn't consider it. "The Brunson camp basically laughed at them and said, 'Uh, we'll take our chances in free agency now,'" Stein said.
