NBA and WNBA Approve The Sale Of The Connecticut Sun To Tilman Fertitta
The Sun have been bought by Tilman Fertitta, the owner of the Houston Rockets from the Mohegan Tribe. The franchise will move to Houston in 2027, marking this season the final season it spends in Connecticut. The sale was agreed upon unanimously by all board of governors. The Sun will host two regular-season games at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut.
