NBA Approves $10 Billion Lakers Sale to Mark Walter

NBA’s Board of Governors unanimously approved the sale of the Lakers to billionaire investor Walter. Jeanie Buss will remain the team’s governor for at least five years following the closing of the transaction. Walter, who also owns the Dodgers, Sparks, and Chelsea FC and is expected to bring Magic Johnson into the Lakers in some capacity.
