NBA Fines Jason Kidd $35,000 Citing Profane Language and Criticism of Officiating

Kidd was fined $35,000 by the NBA for publicly criticizing officiating and using profanity in a media interview. The league said the comments came postgame after Dallas’ 111-107 loss to Houston on Jan. 31 at Toyota Center. The fine was announced by James Jones, the NBA’s executive vice president and head of basketball operations, on Monday.
