Draymond Green Wants NBA to Scrap 65-Game Awards Rule
Green said he’d “get rid of 65 game rule for awards,” arguing players don’t sit to relax: “Sitting out sucks… It’s not a day off.” He said freak injuries shouldn’t erase award cases if voters believe they’re worthy. “To punish someone because they get injured” is bad consequence, he said, calling the rule “not… as beneficial as one had hoped.”
