NBA Reportedly Sending Independent Doctors to Verify Lauri Markkanen’s MRI
Tony Jones reported that Markkanen is set to get an MRI, and that the NBA could be sending independent doctors to verify the scale of his injury. Markkanen hurt himself during a Jazz practice and is being scanned for a potential right ankle and right hip injury. This comes after the Jazz were fined $500,000 for sitting players and tanking.
