NBC’s Super Bowl LX Broadcast Will Feature a Wind Meter Inside Levi’s Stadium
NBC is rolling out a new wind-tracking technology for Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium. The Weather Applied Metrics system measures airflow at multiple heights, allowing broadcasters to explain how wind impacts kicks and passes in real time. Coordinating producer Rob Hyland said NBC will use graphics to show ball-flight effects, adding another layer to its expanded, 80-camera Super Bowl coverage.
