NBPA Is Working On A Proposal To Amend The 65-Game Rule
Cade Cunningham's collapsed lung was the catalyst for the NBPA to want to abolish the 65-game minimum rule for award eligibility. Adam Silver refuted, saying "it's working". Now, the NBPA, led by President Fred VanVleet, are working on a proposal to amend the eligibility rule and re-evaluate the number of games played. It will be sent in a few weeks.
