NCAA Chief Legal Officer Explains Age-Based Eligibility Rule
The NCAA responded after a Colorado judge clarified her class-wide injunction on the age-based eligibility. "Class members' eligibility to participate will be determined by application of the age-based eligibility rule," said Scott Bearby, per On3's Pete Nakos, adding athletes must be within five years of first enrolling or turning 19. The NCAA plans to appeal and seek a stay.
