NCAA Considers Allowing Ads on College Football Uniforms by 2026

An NCAA committee has proposed permitting schools to place commercial logos on uniforms starting in 2026. The plan would allow two ads on jerseys and one on equipment for non-championship games. Illinois A.D. Josh Whitman said it would be an opportunity "for schools to generate additional revenue to fully support" student-athletes who "can receive unprecedented financial benefits" in this new era.
