NCAA Eyes Ban on Exposed Legs in College Football

The NCAA Division I Football Rules Committee has proposed requiring players to wear “leg coverings” from the top of their shoes to the bottom of their pants, banning exposed skin below the knee. Violations would result in warnings and escalating penalties. The change is aimed at improving player safety by reducing cuts and lower-leg injuries during games.
