New Study Reveals NFL Players Face Higher Risk of Neurodegenerative Death
A new study by the Concussion & CTE Foundation, Mass General Brigham, and Boston University found NFL players are four times more likely to die from neurodegenerative diseases than the general population. Researchers also found players with five or more NFL seasons faced nearly double the risk compared to those who played four years or fewer.
